IDEA Exchange Tampa

We provide a 1:1 exchange and supplies like alcohol pads and bandages for all of our participants. 

If our participants are interested, we provide referrals to recovery services. 

We distribute Narcan at no cost and provide basic education on overdose prevention. 

Medical insurance enrollment and navigation are available to interested participants through our partnership with the Family Healthcare Foundation. 

Basic wound care is available at our mobile sites and also through our partnership with Pioneer Medical.

We provide supplies for sexual health support, including emergency contraception and condoms. We also will help connect you to community partners for STI testing and care. 

Free HIV and Hepatitis C rapid testing are available at all sites. We also provide linkage to care to interested participants. 

As one of our linkage to care options, the Bridge Clinic provides onsite access to medications for Opioid Use Disorder and HCV treatment.

We have an onsite mental health counselor who you can schedule confidential appointments with. She will provide you with a safe and supportive environment to aid you on your journey to mental well-being.

We provide educational resources on how to reduce the likelihood of injury and infections. 

We provide hygiene kits with essential items upon request. We also have snacks and drinks at every exchange as well as clothing items when available. 

We are happy to participate in community events throughout Tampa Bay.
